VÚKV a.s. offers activities in the field of development and testing of rolling stock, containers and components from the field of transport engineering, including consultancy, consulting services and assessment.
Applied research
The company is a research organization pursuant to Article 2(83) of Commission Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014. It offers applied research in the field of strength, brakes, driving characteristics, test methods and equipment.
Vehicle development
A comprehensive solution from the initial study through the project and its management, design work and documentation creation, cooperation in the construction of the prototype, approval and commissioning including calculations
and simulations.
Tests
Testing laboratory No. 1085 is accredited according to ČSN EN ISO 17025 and is equipped with equipment to perform a wide range of tests of vehicles, their parts and containers according to the Technical Specifications for interoperability, European standards, UIC regulations and customer requirements. Tests are carried out not only in the Czech Republic and in Europe, but also outside Europe.
Inspection body
Inspection body No. 4061 is accredited according to ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17020 and works in the field of safety inspection in the Rolling Stock subsystem according to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 402/2013.
